Jim Zizelman

Jim Zizelman

President & Chief Executive Officer

Jim Zizelman was appointed president and chief executive officer and member of the Stoneridge Board of Directors in January 2023. He previously joined Stoneridge as president of the Control Devices Division in April 2020. Prior to joining Stoneridge, Zizelman was the vice president of engineering and program management for Aptiv, where he had overarching responsibility for the engineering function and supported the company’s transition from Delphi. Zizelman spent more than 20 years with Delphi, leading a variety of technical and business teams for the Powertrain and Electronics Divisions, and taking responsibility for the innovation, development and execution of all safety, automated and infotainment programs. He holds a bachelor and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Jim is also a member of the Board of Directors of Lunewave, a startup focused on transportation radar systems.

Matt Horvath

Matthew Horvath

Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

Matthew Horvath was appointed chief financial officer and treasurer in 2021. He previously served as Stoneridge’s executive director of corporate strategy and investor relations, and prior to that as director of investor relations. Prior to joining Stoneridge, he spent six years at EY, formerly known as Ernst & Young, in the Transaction Advisory practice, primarily focused on business and asset valuation with a focus on the automotive and transportation industry. Matt graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.

 

Susan Benedict

Susan Benedict

Chief Human Resources Officer & Assistant General Counsel

Susan Benedict was appointed chief human resources officer (CHRO) and assistant general counsel – labor and employment in June 2019. Benedict leads Stoneridge’s global human resources team to develop and deliver global talent and organizational strategies to drive the Company’s operations and growth, as well as provide legal advice and counsel on global labor and employment matters. Benedict previously served as Stoneridge’s director of legal since November 2017. Prior to Stoneridge, Benedict has experience in automotive manufacturing operations and non-profit programs management. After becoming a lawyer, she served as corporate counsel for Guardian Industries. Benedict holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy, and a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Michigan. Susan served as a member of the Board of Directors of Unique Fabricating, a components supplier to the automotive and industrial appliance markets, from 2019 to 2023.

Bob Hartman

Robert J. Hartman

Chief Accounting Officer

Robert Hartman has served as chief accounting officer since 2016. Prior to that, he served as corporate controller from 2006 and director of internal audit from 2003. Hartman served as director of group accounting, communications group at Marconi PLC from 2000-2002. Prior to that, Hartman was Stoneridge’s director of accounting from 1996. Mr. Hartman began his career at Coopers & Lybrand LLP in 1990.

Theresa Mitchell

Theresa G. Mitchell

Chief Information Officer

Theresa Mitchell has served as chief information officer since 2016. Prior to that, she served as the director of global business solutions from 2011. Prior to that, Mitchell served in roles of increasing responsibility since joining Stoneridge in 1990. She has successfully led numerous business initiatives and global cross-functional projects to improve the company’s business systems and processes.

Salvatore Orsini

Sal Orsini

Chief Procurement Officer

Sal Orsini was appointed chief procurement officer in 2022. Prior to joining Stoneridge, Orsini was
the vice president, global chief supply management officer at Nexteer Automotive, where he had
responsibility for all aspects of supply chain operations. Orsini brings more than 25 years of global
supply chain management experience, having held various leadership roles at Aptiv, General
Motors, Rolls-Royce Aerospace and Delphi. He a graduate of Central Michigan University, has
completed additional studies through Harvard Business School, Executive Emerging Leaders
program and received his Certification in Professional Supply Management from the Institute for
Supply Management.

Troy Cooprider

Troy Cooprider

Chief Technology Officer

Troy Cooprider was appointed to chief technology officer, global technology in March 2024. He joined the company in 2020 and previously served as vice president, advanced engineering, and engineering excellence, where he was responsible for developing and executing Stoneridge’s next generation products, including MirrorEye® CMS.

Cooprider brings more than 30 years of automotive electronics experience to Stoneridge. His experience spans multiple generations of product development and launch of Passive and Active Safety (ADAS) systems, Instrument Cluster / Infotainment systems, Body & Security, and Power Electronics systems.  He previously served as executive director, engineering at Aptiv, where he led global, cross-functional teams for a broad range of electronics and safety products.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Rajaey Kased

Rajaey Kased

President, Control Devices Division

Rajaey Kased was appointed president of the Control Devices Division in January 2023. He previously joined Stoneridge as the vice president of sales, strategy, and product line management for the division in 2019. Prior to joining Stoneridge, Kased served as head of business development, ADAS and powertrain, North America, at Henkel. From 2005 to 2017, he served in several roles of increasing responsibility at Delphi, where he led a variety of advanced engineering and business teams. He launched first to market products across multiple regions and held responsibility in developing and driving both regional business and global portfolio strategies. Rajaey was responsible for the general management of multiple plants driving the strategic direction and business execution. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University at Buffalo and a master’s in business administration from the University of Rochester.

Peter Osterberg

Peter Österberg

President, Stoneridge Electronics Division

Peter Österberg was appointed to president of the Electronics Division in 2022. Before joining Stoneridge, Peter served as vice president of Supplier Quality and Development at Volvo Group from 2017-2022. Before that he served in a variety of roles at Volvo including vice president of engineering at Volvo CE, global director Volvo Powertrain, and other positions with increasing responsibility over time. Prior to that, he worked at Volvo Cars, both within product development and quality. He brings with him more than 25 years of industrial experience and holds a master’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.

Caetano Ferraiolo

Caetano Ferraiolo

President, Stoneridge Brazil Division

Caetano Ferraiolo was appointed to president of the Stoneridge Brazil Division in June 2017. He joined the company in 2015 and previously served as chief operating officer. Prior to joining Stoneridge, he served for 5 years as VP of operations for Cannondale Sports Group in Brazil. From 2005 to 2010, Ferraiolo served as director of European commercial and development, Autocam Corporation, a manufacturer of precision components for the automotive industry. Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility in operations and commercial areas during his 8-year tenure with Autocam Corporation.

Archie Nimmer

Archie Nimmer III

Vice President, Global Operations

Archie Nimmer III was appointed vice president, global operations in 2021 where he leads Stoneridge’s global operations team driving operational excellence globally. Since joining Stoneridge in 2017, he has held a variety of operations leadership roles including head of operations for Europe and India, global director of operational excellence, and global operational excellence manager.

Prior to joining Stoneridge, Nimmer utilized his operations experience in packaging and containers, food and beverage, and automotive manufacturing operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Tennessee State University.
