Lean Six Sigma initiatives have improved our manufacturing efficiency, enabling our associates to analyze problems, develop solutions, adopt best practices and eliminate non-value-added activities. These efforts help stabilize processes so they are more predictable, reliable and efficient. And they allow these processes to be transported easily to different regions of the world without disruptions in customer service. While we run our factories at a top level of Lean Six Sigma performance, we also are extending this philosophy far beyond the plant floor to everyone in the organization. We are achieving this by integrating Six Sigma tools into our design, development, administrative, finance, marketing and other support functions.
