Stoneridge, Inc.’s Tallinn, Estonia manufacturing plant earned top honors as Factory of the Year – 2025 in the Large Enterprise Category during Smart Industry 2025, held March 13 in Estonia.
The award, in its fourth year, recognizes industrial companies that keeps its factory’s technological development and efficient production in constant focus, while increasingly moving towards smart industry. A jury including Äripäev and Tööstusuudised, local industry news sites, served as judges of the competition.
Stoneridge Estonia was selected based on key criteria, including revenue and profit; environmental and community contributions; employee value and workplace environment; as well as providing examples of key improvement work in continuous improvement and technological advancement.
“As always, my goal has been to guide the factory and my colleagues to simply do our best—to do what needs to be done, follow the process, and never cut corners,” said Ardo Asperk, Stoneridge Estonia, Plant Manager. “If we do something, we do it properly and to the best of our ability, ensuring there’s no shame even if we don’t always meet expectations. It seems that this year, the jury noticed this commitment to excellence and considered us the best in Estonia.”
